Are you preparing your next ski holidays in Val Thorens, this delghtful resort into french alpes ? Then it’s essential for you to care about the obtention of the val thorens ski pass, because it’s the real entry to the awesomeness of the place. But before, you need to know some informations.

Three kinds of ski pass

There’s three different types of pass. You’ll have to choose which one is best suited to your skiing needs. Before anything, have a sight on a map of the resort, then you shall be able to make your choice.

The 3 Valleys pass :

This pass grants you an unlimited access to more than 600 Km of runs, including 30 black slopes, 108 red ones, 129 blue ones and 51 green ones. The three valleys pass allows you to ski in the following resorts : Méribel, Brides les Bains, Courchevel, Val Thorens-Orelle, les Ménuires-St Martin de Belleville and La Tania.

The Val Thorens-Orelle pass :

This pass grants you an unlimited access to more than 150 Km of runs, including 8 black slopes, 30 red ones, 29 blue ones and 11 green ones. The Val Thorens-Orelle pass allows you to ski only in the Val Thorens-Orelle resort.

The Belleville Valley pass :

This pass grants you an unlimited access to more than 300 Km of runs, including 14 black slopes, 51 red ones, 60 blue ones and 20 green ones. The Belleville Valley pass allows you to ski in Val Thorens-Orelle and les Ménuires-St Martin de Belleville resorts.

How can I buy my ski pass ?

You can buy your val thorens ski pass from your hosteler if they have a partnership with the resort. If you chose well your accommodation, it may be included in your fees. You may benefit of some price reductions if you do so.

You can also buy your ski pass into ticket offices when you’re in the resort. Keep in mind it may be crowdy, you’ll need a great amount of patience.

If none of these possibilities interests you, you’ll appreciate the opportunity to buy your ski pass online, before your arrival. Then, you can collect it from an automatic distributor (findable in Tourism Office or ticket offices) or receive it by post at home. If you do so, be sure to purchase it at least ten days before your first day of skiing.
